It’s safe to say, at some point, everyone has a wonky kitchen drawer, a squeaky hinge, a loose baseboard, nail holes to be covered or a towel bar falling off the wall.
How about a loose outlet cover? A wobbly railing? Closet doors that won’t close? A bookcase that won’t…book?
We can fix a smorgasbord of minor and major annoyances and all kinds of things that go wrong…in all kinds of homes.
-
We like to paint.
Rooms, accent walls, hallways, trim, molding, doors, old furniture. If it can be painted…we can probably paint it for you.
Ask about full house exterior and interior projects.
-
Water leaks can leave your walls and ceilings looking bad and smelling worse. Pets can scratch and chew even the most inedible of walls.
Not to mention, plumbing and electrical repairs can leave your walls looking like swiss cheese.
We can patch you up and get things back to normal again.
-
Wood rot is one of the most common issues in Texas homes. We can repair rotted siding, facia, soffit and trim around your home.
We also do carpentry projects like small decks and fences, gates and custom projects.
-
Ever try to hire a tile contractor to fix a single tile? Sounds expensive.
We’re happy to take on small tile repairs - even individual tiles.
We also do backsplashes, small bathrooms, showers, floors and other custom tile projects.
-
Wooden doors and windows have become a premium product in the last 20 years.
Often times, they can be restored versus removing and replacing them. Even significant wood rot can often be remediated.
Especially if you live in a historic home, ask about door and window restoration if you’re considering replacement.
-
For basic handle and lockset installations, there’s no need to call a locksmith.
We can replace practically all residential locks and handles and even perform basic repairs.
-
Sure, we know you don’t open your windows in Texas, but if you ever do, you’ll need a screen.
We replace standard screens up to 4 feet by 4 feet. We can even re-screen your existing screens.
(We don’t offer curved screens or heavy gauge sunscreens at this time)
-
Often times, the worst part of your shower is the caulking and corner sealants. They harbor mould and mildew and can become discolored and loose after a few years.
We can remove the old caulking and re-seal and beautify your shower.
We also offer water-stain glass restoration. Some hard water stains can be removed to even further enhance your showers!
-
All homes require routine maintenance.
Let us help you with your air filter replacement, batteries in your smoke alarms, salt in your water softener and many other regular tasks you may have.
Ask about scheduling recurring, quarterly maintenance visits.
-
While all major plumbing and electrical work should be left to licensed professionals, there are some minor plumbing and electrical issues where we may be able to assist. Stuck toilet flappers, shower head replacements, a wedding ring stuck in the drain, and other minor plumbing issues, we can help with.
Also ask about small light fixture replacements, hard-to-reach bulb replacements and minor electrical repairs, as well.
Any electrical and plumbing requests are taken on a case-by-case basis.
-
We offer pressure washing services for your sidewalks, driveways, decks, stonework and fences.
-
That flat-packed furniture from IKEA isn’t always as easy to assemble as they say. Let us help you assemble your new furniture.
We also do furniture repairs for all sorts of wooden pieces, whether IKEA or family heirloom.

While we don’t offer full fence replacement, we are able to repair most minor issues.
We fix missing pickets, sagging or broken gates and loose posts.
-
Sometimes your gutters can be the source of some serious headaches.
Leaks can often rot the adjacent wood, especially in corners, which can spread into soffits and even your roof.
Instead of replacing entire sections of facia and soffit, we can often cut out and replace just the rotted portion, patch the leak in the gutter, and save you thousands on major repairs and replacements.
-
Sure, it’s a very specific type of repair to have its own category but, we’ve come up with a good method to re-install slats in wooden, farmhouse blinds that have fallen out of the frame.
We’ve found that even the installation companies don’t have a way to repair the slats once they’ve fallen out. Luckily, we can do it without much fuss. Repair, don’t replace!

Frequently
Asked
Questions
-
A half-day appointment lasts up to 4 hours
A full-day appointment lasts up to 8 hours
The time is calculated from arrival, to when the handyman departs.
-
Usually only for larger projects. Most repair projects and to-do lists are relatively easy to estimate over the phone, via email, or even text message.
If you’re able to convey what you need over the phone, combined with photos, we can often set you up with an appointment in just a few minutes.
When the handyman arrives, they will do a quick final assessment of the project in person, and if necessary, discuss adjustments to the appointment duration with you, at that time.
-
We understand not everyone needs a half-day appointment but it’s important to know that, you are not required to use the entire appointment time. Whether your project is done in only an hour or two, or if it takes the full 4 hours, our Half-Day block is perfect for small projects.
In the case of a full day appointment ending early, if only 4 or 5 hours have transpired, you will be prorated for unused time and not charged the full day price. Otherwise, if the appointment goes over 5 hours, the full day rate is charged.
-
Yes, your appointment begins when the handyman arrives at your home and ends when they are packed up and have collected payment.
-
While time overages are rare, there can be issues that present themselves in the due course of a project.
If a problem is discovered that could cause an extension of our appointment time, we will pause at that point and discuss with you before moving forward.
Additional hours are charged at a rate of $75 per. Additional hours over 8 hours are charged at $125.
-
Absolutely! With the understanding that, this does not guarantee that more materials won’t be needed.
Most of our customers, because of the tricky nature of repairs and the immense selection in the hardware store, opt for the handyman to purchase any materials they need for their projects. However, if you are confident you can provide what’s necessary or, if the items need to be ordered online, then we encourage you to do so.
As a disclaimer, if a trip to the hardware store is required, that time is part of the appointment block.
(On average, trips to the hardware store take 1 hour depending on distance and amount of materials required.)
-
Currently we are set up for all payment methods except credit card.
While we will be taking cards soon, we accept cash, check and all major app payments: Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp and Apple Pay
Payment is due upon completion of the appointment. Additional time may be purchased, if needed.
-
We’re happy to offer a cash discount to anyone, on almost any project.
Half-Day……$250 (cash rate)
Full-Day…….$450 (cash rate

Most handyman appointments are very similar:
Your technician will text you when they are heading your way. If there is a gate code for your neighborhood or special parking instructions, please let them know.
While we are generally good with dogs, we do ask that you put away any dogs that can be aggressive or uncomfortable around strangers.
If an appointment was scheduled over the phone, the first few minutes will usually be spent doing a quick walkthrough with you and getting oriented with the project or task list. This is the time for you to ask any questions or raise concerns before we get started.
The handyman will assess what materials, if any, are needed and will then go to the hardware store, if required. This usually takes an average of 45 mins to 1 hour depending on your project and the distance to the nearest store.
The rest of the appointment is spent working on your project.
Once finished, if there is sufficient time left in the appointment to tackle something else, more can be completed.
Depending on the nature of the project, we will usually need at least 15 mins to clean up. Paint projects will take longer. Clean-up time is also part of our appointment.
Once we are cleaned up and packed away, we will collect payment. Payment is due at the time of service.

As we are a very small business, we are usually booked 2-3 days out and often longer during the summer months. Thus we usually do not have immediate availability but we are happy to be your go-to for all non-emergent, home improvement needs
